DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Registered presents: GENDERCRAFT\, a deeper dive on gender identity and gender expression\, hosted by Eliot Newton (GENDERBANDIT). The deep dive series is split into two topics\, which are further split into two modules each. \n\n\n\nEach topic includes a Fundamentals module (interactive\, beyond-101 learning) and an Applications module (real-life scenarios and best practices). While you can attend individual sessions\, participating in the full series provides the strongest learning experience with minimal repetition. \n\n\n\nThis deep-dive training is designed for participants who already have some familiarity with 2SLGBTQI+ communities and concepts. \n\n\n\nGender Identity FundamentalsThis module is primarily concerned with deepening understanding of the term “gender identity”. It discusses five major components of gender identity: sense of self\, community identity\, societal influences\, biology\, and time. \n\n\n\nThe module proceeds to discuss intersectionality and the ways gender interacts with other aspects of identity. There is a brief discussion of pronouns\, and the distinction between pronouns and identity.
