Crossman Community Centre & Kay Arena
A multi-use facility, the Crossman Community Centre-Kay Arena features an ice surface, gymnasium, walking track and community meeting spaces.
Built 34 years ago, the original Kay Arena was the pride of the Lewisville community in Moncton’s east side. Its namesake, Harold Kay, was a former Lewisville Deputy Mayor and Village Administrator who ensured local youth had a dedicated recreational space.
The Crossman Community Centre - Kay Arena was opened in 2008 to replace the original Kay Arena and offer more amenities. The new building was named in honour of Norm Crossman, a former Mayor of Lewisville and Ward 1 councillor in Moncton who dedicated his life to public service for over 41 years.
