Come Wander with Ontario’s Highlands Tourism Organization

When it comes to tourism, the Ontario's Highlands Tourism Organization's (OHTO) mandate is simple - OHTO exists so communities in the region are strengthened through responsible tourism.

It’s no secret to anyone who lives, works, or has ever stepped foot in Ontario’s Highlands that this region is a special place to live, work, and visit.  Untouched natural landscapes, pristine waterways, and the rich rural culture and history of our small towns underpin the character and vibrancy of the Ontario's Highlands experience.

Ontario's Highlands is 2.5 hours east of Toronto and a half an hour west of Ottawa, encompassing the Ottawa Valley, Lanark County, Frontenac County, Hastings County, Lennox & Addington and Haliburton Highlands. Offering a natural playground, a place to satisfy your thirst for adventure as you explore the trails, rapids, cliffs and skies. At the end of the day Ontario's Highlands is where you come to breathe deep and reconnect with nature, yourself, and your people.
